Air Liquide, as a beneficiary of the state aid, will receive significant funding for the Kairos@C project, enabling it to capture GHG emissions and produce low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia. This support helps Air Liquide advance its decarbonization efforts and maintain competitiveness in the industrial gas sector.

Air Liquide is funding the Wits Strategic Hydrogen Localisation Investment Facility (Wits-SAHLI) with R100 million and is providing 60 years of global hydrogen expertise. This initiative is part of Air Liquide's multi-year investment program supporting the decarbonization of South Africa and fulfills public interest commitments following its 2021 acquisition of Sasol's air separation units.

Air Liquide is a co-owner of Redo Biosolutions, a customer of Processkontroll Green Technology. This connection indirectly links Air Liquide to the expansion of biomethane infrastructure in the Nordic region.
