Wipro has secured a multi-year contract with TruStage Financial Group to modernize its retirement services business. This engagement will enhance Wipro's presence in the financial services sector and leverage its AI-powered platforms and consulting expertise.

Wipro launched a new AI-powered hub at GIFT City to deliver advanced technology services to global Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) clients. This strategic investment aims to scale the impact of Wipro Intelligence, enhance client engagement, and support long-term value creation.

Wipro secured an eight-year strategic transformation contract with Olam Group, valued over $1 billion, and will acquire Olam Group===Mindsprint for $375 million. This deal expands Wipro's farm-to-fork capabilities and scales its AI-driven solutions in the food and agri-business sector, leading to a rise in its share price.

Wipro is acquiring select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC, which will enhance its AI-powered and consulting-led application services capabilities and drive new growth opportunities. This acquisition is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Wipro's shares declined by 3.9%. The company, like other Indian IT exporters, faces challenges from AI automation that could reduce the need for entry-level talent and pressure operating margins.
