The Nigeria===Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed its policy of providing free application documents for the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to candidates with disabilities. This initiative, processed by the JAMB-equal Opportunity Group (JEOG), aims to ensure equal access to higher education for individuals with conditions such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Dyslexia, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Additionally, JAMB will provide audiobooks in popular formats (MP3, WMV, WMA) for visually impaired candidates. The Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, announced this commitment during a meeting with stakeholders in Abuja, emphasizing the board's dedication to the welfare of persons with disabilities.
