Israel and Azerbaijan Sign AI MOU

Israel and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Artificial Intelligence at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. The agreement, signed by Erez Askal for Israel and Rashad Nabiyev for Azerbaijan, in the presence of Benjamin Netanyahu, aims to advance Israel's global leadership in AI and deepen the ongoing alliance between the two nations. The partnership will focus on supercomputing infrastructure, the implementation of AI in critical civilian sectors, human capital development, and joint research initiatives. This follows a similar joint declaration signed between Israel and the United States last month, highlighting Israel's broader strategy for international AI cooperation. The leaders emphasized the importance of this collaboration for future technological advancements and strengthening bilateral relations.
