The deployment will begin with 35 buses by March 31, 2026, on routes like Delhi-Dehradun and Delhi-Lucknow. Enetra EV Private Limited will facilitate the deployment through an electric bus leasing program and Enetra India Pvt. Ltd. has provided USD 4.1 million in funding to LeafyBus for fleet growth, charging infrastructure, and new route development. This collaboration also marks the Volvo's entry into India's intercity electric bus segment through its joint venture with Eicher Motors.
