Palo Alto Networks announced the completion of its acquisition of Chronosphere, a leader in observability platforms. This strategic move aims to address the challenge of securing massive data volumes in AI-driven digital operations by integrating Chronosphere's cloud-native observability platform with Palo Alto Networks' Cortex AgentiX. The combined solution will enable real-time visibility into applications, infrastructure, and AI systems, allowing for automated detection and remediation of security and IT issues. Nikesh Arora, Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks, highlighted the importance of deep visibility for security, while Martin Mao, co-founder and CEO of Chronosphere, will join Palo Alto Networks to lead observability efforts. The Chronosphere Telemetry Pipeline will remain available as a standalone product, offering data volume reduction and supporting Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSIAM strategy.
