This initiative, part of the Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP) implemented with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), aims to reduce post-harvest losses, empower women and youth farmers, and boost productivity in rice and cassava value chains. Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nigeria===Nasarawa State affirmed the state's alignment with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for agricultural transformation. The distributed equipment includes tricycles, rice parboiling, milling, and destoning machines, as well as cassava grating and frying machines, among others. The program is expected to enhance food security, increase incomes, and create employment opportunities in rural Nigeria.
