President Bola Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, officially launched Nigeria's National Halal Economy Strategy in Abuja. Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, will chair the policy's oversight committee, with Aliyu Sheriff, Special Assistant to the President on Export Expansion, highlighting its potential for economic growth and foreign exchange generation.
