Wellington College International Launches Lagos School

Wellington College International has formally launched its first African school, Wellington College International Nigeria===Lagos, in partnership with Rendeavour. The school, scheduled to open in September 2027 in Rendeavour===Alaro City, Nigeria===Lagos, will be a co-educational boarding and day school for up to 1,500 students aged 3 to 18, delivering the English National Curriculum. This initiative marks a significant milestone in expanding world-class British education onto the continent and strengthens Rendeavour===Alaro City's position as a fully integrated urban ecosystem. The 12.5-hectare campus, designed by MICA Architects, will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including an Olympic-size swimming pool and a performing arts theatre. Leaders from Wellington College International and Rendeavour emphasized the investment in Africa's future and the preparation of the next generation of leaders.
