K. T. The alleged motive is to destroy crucial evidence related to the 'vote-for-note' case, in which Revanth Reddy is an accused. K. T. Rama Rao highlighted suspicious circumstances, including the fire's outbreak in a secured facility during winter, the absence of staff, and contradictory government statements on the extent of damage. He claims that 10 years' worth of evidence and nearly 50 computer systems were destroyed, impacting thousands of criminal cases. K. T. Rama Rao has demanded an impartial, high-level investigation by the India===Government of India and an independent judicial inquiry by a retired judge.
