The release of the UEX Security Standard by Bitget and BlockSec is expected to enhance trust and security in the evolving multi-asset trading landscape, potentially encouraging broader adoption of Universal Exchanges. This could lead to increased investor confidence and more stable market operations, especially for platforms integrating crypto and traditional assets.
Bitget, in collaboration with blockchain security firm BlockSec, has released 'The UEX Security Standard: From Proof to Protection' report. This report outlines a system-level security framework for Universal Exchanges (UEX) that operate across crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional financial markets within unified account environments. The standard defines five core benchmarks: verifiable solvency, multi-asset risk isolation, data security and privacy protection, AI-driven dynamic monitoring, and resilient application and infrastructure defense. This initiative aims to address new security challenges arising from unified margin systems and cross-market access, shifting the focus from isolated controls to continuous, verifiable resilience. The framework is supported by Bitget's existing Proof of Reserves and Protection Fund, and reinforced by BlockSec's expertise in real-time monitoring and incident response. The report is intended to serve as a reference for exchanges, regulators, and market participants.
