BAE Systems has been awarded $137 million in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts by the United States===United States Army. These contracts are for the delivery of BAE Systems' AN/AAR-57 Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) to over 20 allied nations. The CMWS is designed to detect infrared and radio-frequency guided missiles, as well as unguided munitions, providing warnings and cueing countermeasures for aircraft crews. This system is already installed on more than 40 types of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft globally.
