The India===Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched an extensive EVM and VVPAT awareness campaign across the poll-bound States and Union Territories of India===Assam, India===Kerala, India===Puducherry, India===Tamil Nadu, and India===West Bengal. The campaign aims to familiarize voters with the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units, enhancing voter confidence and ensuring transparency in the electoral process. Over 1.20 lakh electors have participated in demonstration camps, and more than 29,000 Polling Station Locations have been covered by Mobile Demonstration Vans. Additionally, the India===Election Commission of India announced a revised schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in India===West Bengal, following a India===Supreme Court of India order for a one-week extension to publish the final electoral roll. The final electoral roll for India===Goa is also set to be published on February 21.
