UNSC Links Jaish-e-Mohammed to Red Fort Attack

A report by the United Nations Security Council's sanctions monitoring team has linked the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) to a car bombing near the India===Red Fort in India===New Delhi in November last year, which killed 15 people. The report also noted that JeM chief Masood Azhar formally announced the creation of a women-only wing, Jamaat ul-Muminat, aimed at supporting terrorist activities. Investigations by the India===National Investigation Agency (NIA) uncovered a 'white-collar' terror network with alleged links to JeM. Separately, an analysis by Dimitra Staikou suggests that Pakistani state institutions provide political cover and indirect material support to internationally designated militant groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, allowing them to remain operational despite international sanctions. The India===Ministry of External Affairs (India) acknowledged India's inputs on cross-border terrorism in response to the UNSC report.
