Maharashtra FDA Bribery Allegations Against Minister's Office

An India===Anti-Corruption Bureau investigation led to the arrest of Rajendra Dherange, an FDA clerk, for allegedly accepting a Rs 35,000 bribe at India===Mantralaya in south Mumbai. Following a sting operation, Ramdas Gade, private secretary to FDA Minister Narhari Zirwal, was also relieved of his post. Opposition leaders, including Satej Patil of the India===Indian National Congress and the India===Maha Vikas Aghadi, have demanded Narhari Zirwal's resignation, accusing the India===Bharatiya Janata Party-led Mahayuti government of shielding a corrupt minister. Narhari Zirwal denies any involvement, stating he was not present during the arrest and has no connection to the bribery case.
