As part of this initiative, the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgery at India===All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi organized an intensive cadaveric workshop and academic training program from February 11 to 15. Dr. Indranil Sinha, Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery at Brigham and Women s Hospital (Harvard Medical School), Boston, an internationally recognized expert, led the training. Dr. Maneesh Singhal, Head of the Department at India===All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, emphasized the procedure's importance for patients with severe facial deformities. The program included hands-on workshops, lectures, and interdisciplinary discussions, with plans for collaboration with Harvard Medical School. This development aims to provide holistic functional and aesthetic rehabilitation to patients with limited options.
