The initiative aims to ensure access to electricity for all communities, stimulate economic activities, and support small and medium enterprises. Key achievements include the completion of solar mini-grid installations in 190 Primary Health Care Centres, delivering 1.35 megawatts of clean energy, and the restoration of 32 abandoned systems. The long-abandoned 2x60MVA, 132/33kV Substation at the Green Economic Zone in Maraban Jos has also been completed, described as an industrial catalyst. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Nigeria===Rural Electrification Agency to advance projects for Kaduna Polytechnic (1.5 megawatts) and Ahmadu Bello University (8 megawatts), alongside urban generation projects in TRAPCO, Shika, and Makarfi.
