Three Inmates Escape Jammu Juvenile Home

Three inmates, including two Pakistani nationals, Ahsan Anwar and Mohammad Sanaullah, and a local resident, Karanjit Singh, escaped from a Juvenile Observation Home in R.S. Pura, India===Jammu. The escape occurred after the inmates allegedly assaulted two police personnel, Vinay Kumar and Parveen Kumar, who sustained injuries and were hospitalized. The India===Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a massive manhunt and initiated an investigation into the incident, which has raised concerns about security at the facility. A video purportedly showing Karanjit Singh firing a locally-made pistol inside the home also surfaced. Former DGP S. P. Vaid questioned why the inmates, who were no longer juveniles, were still housed at the facility.
