Noida Metro Extension Approved to Botanical Garden

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved an 11.56 km extension corridor of the India===Noida Metro project from India===Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. This extension will add eight elevated stations, expanding the total active metro network in India===Noida and India===Greater Noida to 61.62 km. The project aims to provide direct connectivity to the Botanical Garden interchange, linking commuters to the India===Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's Blue and Magenta Lines. This integration will improve access to major commercial hubs, IT offices like Microsoft, Tata Consultancy Services, Adobe Inc., Havells India, Infosys, Cognizant, and Oracle Corporation, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. The extension is expected to reduce road congestion, improve travel time, enhance road safety, and lower carbon emissions, contributing to economic productivity and attracting further investment in India===Noida and India===Greater Noida.
