India's First Quantum AI University in Amaravati

The India===National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous scientific society under the India===Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of India===Andhra Pradesh to establish India's first dedicated Quantum and Artificial Intelligence University campus in Amaravati. This pioneering initiative, announced at the AI Impact Summit, aims to support India's ambition to build a globally competitive ecosystem in quantum technologies through the proposed Andhra Quantum Mission. The Amaravati campus will serve as a specialized academic hub focusing on frontier research and academic excellence in areas such as Quantum Computing, AI, Machine Learning, Quantum Communication, Cybersecurity, and Quantum Hardware. Key figures like N. Chandrababu Naidu, S. Krishnan, M. M. Tripathi, and C. V. Sridhar were present at the signing, highlighting the significance of this collaboration for India's deep-tech journey.
