Swiss technology company SICPA, in partnership with Spectra Systems Corporation's subsidiary Spectra Systems Corporation===Cartor Security Printers, has secured a significant traceability contract with United Kingdom===HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in the United Kingdom. This program aims to deliver robust track and trace solutions for vape products to combat illicit trade, support excise duty collection, and enhance market compliance. The project, initiated after a multi-stage procurement process, will run for an initial five-year term with an option for a one-year extension. SICPA will manage digital security features, software solutions, and data monitoring, while Spectra Systems Corporation===Cartor Security Printers will handle the printing of tax stamps with core security features. The system will be implemented in phases, starting April 2026, with a full track and trace solution by October 2026.
