The Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP) and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration. The partnership aims to accelerate Nigeria's industrial expansion and position Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as primary beneficiaries of Nigeria-China trade, manufacturing, and investment flows. Joseph Tegbe, Director-General of NCSP, highlighted the platform's role in driving Nigeria's economic engagement with China and overseeing Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) initiatives. Jani Ibrahim, President of NACCIMA, commended the focus on SMEs and reaffirmed the private sector's readiness to collaborate. Key areas of focus include integrating SMEs into manufacturing value chains, expanding agro-processing, strengthening technical education, and promoting industrial parks. Both parties agreed to establish a formal working interface to translate strategic alignment into measurable results, aligning with Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for inclusive economic growth.
