Digital Realty Expands Innovation Lab to Singapore, Japan, London

Digital Realty, a leading data center platform, has announced the expansion of its Digital Realty Innovation Lab (DRIL) into Singapore, Japan, and United Kingdom===London. This marks the first international expansion of the DRIL network, which was initially launched in Northern Virginia in September 2025. The new facilities will provide real-world testing environments for customers and partners to validate AI and hybrid cloud deployments before scaling them live. This initiative aims to address the critical barrier of infrastructure readiness for AI adoption. The expansion supports Singapore and Japan's continued leadership in AI innovation, with Singapore's digital economy contributing significantly to its GDP and Japan planning substantial investments in AI. The United Kingdom===London DRIL will also contribute to the UK's accelerating AI sector. The labs will offer high-density AI and HPC testing, energy and cooling-aware testing, AI infrastructure optimization, hybrid cloud validation, AI workload orchestration, and latency testing across locations. Key partners in the global DRIL network include AMD, Cisco, and Lenovo.
