Huawei Launches Next-Gen Optical Network Products

At MWC Barcelona 2026, Bob Chen, President of Huawei Optical Business Product Line, unveiled Huawei's Next Generation Optical Network products and solutions. These innovations aim to integrate AI with networks, accelerating the evolution toward AI-centric All-Optical Networks. The solutions focus on 'AI for Networks' to improve network quality and efficiency through intelligent fiber sensing, performance enhancement, experience enhancement, energy saving, and intelligent O&M. They also focus on 'Networks for AI' to accelerate AI popularization through enhanced optical access and transmission capabilities, meeting the demands of new home AI services and ensuring optimal AI application performance. The ITU-T's ION-2030 vision supports this direction, and global operators are already deploying next-generation optical networks.
