Joint Task Force Debunks Insurgent Propaganda

The Nigeria===Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai has refuted claims by Boko Haram and Islamic State – West Africa Province regarding recent troop casualties, labeling them as recycled propaganda. Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the Media Information Officer, stated that the insurgents are circulating old reports and images to mislead the public. The task force emphasized that no significant troop losses have occurred recently and highlighted its enhanced operational strategy, which combines air power with ground offensives. Recent successes include neutralizing scores of fighters, recovering dangerous weapons, and intercepting N37 million in cash intended for terrorist operations at the Chabbal checkpoint. These actions have significantly weakened insurgent positions and disrupted their logistics networks. The military urged the public and media to verify information from official sources to counter terrorist psychological warfare.
