The survey of 1,000 adults in South Africa found that 63% have used Artificial intelligence for shopping tasks, 39% consider Digital wallet the fastest payment option, and 57% of those who send money abroad would consider using Stablecoin. Biometric authentication is also widely used by 66% of consumers. Despite this embrace of new technologies, security remains a top concern for 88% of respondents, and 63% still prefer human customer service over Artificial intelligence. Lineshree Moodley of Visa Inc. South Africa noted that trust and technology are going hand-in-hand, driving the adoption of new payment solutions.
