This innovation strengthens Oracle's position in the AI and construction technology sectors, potentially leading to increased market share and revenue.
Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Construction and Engineering Advisor for Safety, an AI-enabled predictive intelligence solution designed to transform safety management in the construction industry. This new offering allows construction firms to forecast project safety incidents proactively, aiming to prevent accidents and support safer, more cost-effective jobsites. The solution utilizes an Oracle-built, industry-specific safety model trained on extensive data, enabling firms to benefit from predictive safety regardless of their current safety program's maturity. Oracle also introduced a new Observation capability in Oracle===Aconex and Oracle===Primavera (software) Unifier Accelerator, which facilitates the capture of structured safety data by field teams. This integration with Oracle===Aconex, Oracle===Primavera (software) Unifier Accelerator, and Oracle===Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) allows for comprehensive data analysis. Early customer results show reductions in incident rates by up to 50% and workers' compensation costs by up to 75% in the first year. This launch builds on Oracle's 2020 acquisition of Newmetrix, which developed a safety prediction platform.
