Tata Power, one of India's largest integrated power companies, announced a strategic collaboration with US-based IT firm Salesforce to digitally transform its rapidly expanding rooftop solar, EV charging, and smart home solutions businesses. This partnership aims to establish a secure, intelligent, and fully integrated clean energy ecosystem powered by AI, automation, and data-driven insights, aligning with India's net-zero ambitions. Tata Power has deployed Salesforce's Agentforce Sales, Agentforce Service, and Agentforce Marketing platforms across its renewable energy subsidiary, Tata Power===Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited. This deployment will enhance operational visibility, accelerate decision-making, and create seamless omnichannel experiences for customers and partners. The initiative is expected to enable scalable growth, deeper partner and customer engagement, and operational excellence across the renewable energy value chain. Both companies will also co-innovate AI-led workflows to transform customer and partner contact center operations. Tata Power has also developed a proprietary deep learning and agentic intelligence layer on top of Salesforce for zero-touch quality and safety validation. This collaboration comes amidst strong policy momentum under the India===Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which has driven over 200% growth in Tata Power's residential rooftop solar segment.
