The Nigeria===Federal Ministry of Youth Development in Nigeria, in partnership with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), has launched the Youth in Agribusiness Land Trust Fund (YALTF). This strategic initiative aims to train over 6 million young Nigerians in agribusiness, providing them with access to land, modern agricultural knowledge, and climate-smart farming practices. The program, unveiled by Minister Ayodele Olawande, leverages the expertise of IITA and utilizes land resources within 42 National Youth Development Centres across Nigeria. It seeks to address youth unemployment, strengthen food security, and drive economic growth by empowering young people as key drivers of agricultural transformation.
