The UNDP, through its Resident Representative Elsie Attafuah, reaffirmed its commitment to Nigeria's development initiatives, shifting from a project-based approach to a government-financed, long-term thematic strategy. Key areas of focus include the Made-in-Nigeria policy to boost industrialization and job creation, increased female participation in politics, poverty reduction, education, agriculture, and the mining sector. The UNDP also launched the University Graduate Hub initiative to connect graduates with financiers for their innovative products.
