Indorama Ventures, Heineken N.V.===Nigerian Breweries, and Genesis Power & Energy Solutions have formed a strategic partnership to establish one of Africa's largest recycled polyethene terephthalate (rPET) production facilities in Lagos, Nigeria. The facility, with a planned annual capacity of 45,000 tonnes of food-grade rPET resin, is expected to commence operations in the first half of 2027. This collaboration aims to strengthen Nigeria's recycling ecosystem by improving waste collection, creating jobs, and expanding participation across the recycling value chain. Indorama Ventures will provide technical expertise, Heineken N.V.===Nigerian Breweries will contribute local market knowledge, and Genesis Power & Energy Solutions will offer infrastructure and sustainable energy solutions.
