Hettich Inaugurates New Manufacturing Facility in Indore, India

Hettich, a German furniture fittings maker, inaugurated its first dedicated undermount drawer runner manufacturing facility in India===Indore, India===Madhya Pradesh, India. This new 25,700 sq. meter plant is part of Hettich's overall investment of approximately ₹2,000 crore in India, reinforcing its 25-year commitment to the country. The facility will produce around 5 million units of undermount drawer runners annually, in addition to the existing hinge manufacturing unit's 60 million hinges. This expansion aims to position India as a key global manufacturing hub for Hettich, catering to both domestic and international demand. The highly automated plant incorporates German engineering, advanced roll-forming technology, and sustainability initiatives like solar power and rainwater harvesting. The project is expected to create an additional 300 jobs, contributing to local economic development. Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, emphasized India's central role in Hettich's long-term global strategy and its vision of 'Made in India, Made for the World'.
