Nigeria NSA Accused of Diverting US Troops

Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a clergyman from Nigeria===Plateau State, has accused Nigeria's National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, of deliberately diverting U.S. military assistance away from Nigeria===Plateau State. Dachomo claims he appealed to former U.S. President Donald Trump for intervention to protect Christians in Nigeria===Plateau State from extremist killings. However, when the U.S. responded with precision airstrikes and troop deployments, these efforts were concentrated in Nigeria===Sokoto State and other Muslim-majority northern areas, allegedly at Ribadu's direction. Dachomo asserts this diversion is part of a plan to protect Muslims while allowing violence against Christians to continue in the Middle Belt, including Plateau, Borno, Kwara, Kaduna, and Benue states. The U.S. military actions, including airstrikes on December 25, 2025, targeted groups like ISWAP, Boko Haram, and Lakurawa insurgents.
