Mandi Judicial Court Complex Foundation Laid

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant laid the foundation stone for the Mandi Judicial Court Complex in India===Himachal Pradesh, a state-of-the-art facility to be built at a cost of Rs 152 crore on 9.6 hectares. The complex will feature four blocks, aiming to provide improved facilities for judges, lawyers, and the public. During a legal literacy camp held on the occasion, Justice Kant emphasized that the judicial system should operate with the same spirit of service as hospitals, providing hope and justice. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, also present, highlighted his government's commitment to inclusive development, social justice, and various welfare initiatives, including adopting orphaned children, increasing the legal marriage age for girls, granting equal property rights to daughters, and resolving numerous pending cases through Lok Adalats. The event also saw the presence of Chief Justice of India===Himachal Pradesh High Court Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and other judicial dignitaries.
