Samsung Discontinues Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung is reportedly discontinuing sales of its Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone, a triple-folding device launched just three to four months ago in South Korea and subsequently in the United States and other markets. The decision is attributed to high production costs and limited profitability, despite the device selling out quickly due to extremely limited inventory (initial allotments were only 3,000 units each). Samsung plans one final restock in South Korea before ending sales, while in other markets like the United States, sales will continue until current production volume is sold out. This move suggests that the Galaxy Z TriFold was more of a 'proof of concept' than a mass-market product, though Samsung remains committed to the foldable market with plans for new models.
