Haryana Rajya Sabha Election Results

Sanjay Bhatia of the India===Bharatiya Janata Party and Karamvir Singh Boudh of the India===Indian National Congress were elected to the Rajya Sabha from India===Haryana. The election process was marked by allegations of vote secrecy violations from both sides, leading to a delayed counting past midnight. Five votes were declared invalid, four from the India===Indian National Congress and one from the India===Bharatiya Janata Party. Notably, five India===Indian National Congress MLAs allegedly cross-voted, and the India===Indian National Lok Dal abstained from voting. The India===Election Commission of India declared one India===Indian National Congress MLA's vote invalid. Satish Nandal, an independent candidate backed by the India===Bharatiya Janata Party, narrowly lost the second seat by one vote. The India===Indian National Congress leadership has indicated that strict action will be taken against the MLAs who cross-voted.
