The launch of Lithosphere's Makalu Testnet, featuring AI-native smart contracts and cross-chain coordination, is expected to positively impact the blockchain and AI markets by enabling more sophisticated decentralized applications. This innovation could drive further investment and development in Web4 systems, benefiting companies like KaJ Labs.
Lithosphere, developed by KaJ Labs, has officially activated its Makalu Testnet, introducing a new infrastructure layer for AI-native blockchain systems and autonomous digital coordination. A key component of this launch is Lithic, an AI-native smart contract language that enables intelligent computation to be executed, governed, and verified on-chain, moving beyond traditional transaction-based models. The Makalu Testnet also features an agent-based infrastructure model for autonomous systems, MultX for cross-chain interoperability, DNNS for decentralized naming and identity, and the LEP100 standards framework for AI interaction. J. King Kasr, Chief Scientist at KaJ Labs, emphasized that Makalu represents a transition towards infrastructure designed for intelligent systems, positioning Lithosphere as a foundational layer for emerging Web4 systems.
