This event has no direct impact on financial markets. It is an educational administrative decision affecting students in the Middle East.
The India===Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special assessment scheme for Class 10 exams in the Middle East region, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. This decision follows the cancellation of remaining board exams due to the escalating West Asia conflict. Exams scheduled from February 17 to 28 were successfully conducted, covering subjects like Mathematics, English, Science, languages, and skill-based papers. The India===Central Board of Secondary Education will not hold fresh examinations but will instead declare results using a formula-based evaluation, calculating marks from papers already taken and applying averages of best-performing subjects for missed exams. Students will be categorized based on the number of exams they appeared for, and results will be declared along with other regions. Students will have the option to improve their scores through subsequent board examinations.
