Suspected bandits launched an attack on Tse Kwe Village in Donga Local Government Area of Nigeria===Taraba State, Nigeria, following a distress call from a resident. A team of Nigeria===Nigeria Police Force officers, led by the Divisional Police Officer of Donga and supported by Special Force operatives, was deployed to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers were ambushed by the bandits, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire. Tragically, three police officers, CPL Raphael Danjuma, PC Ebenezer Daniel, and PC Samuel Bawa, sustained fatal gunshot wounds and died in the line of duty. Additionally, Nutsa Tyav, a 60-year-old Chairman of the Vigilante Group in Tordamisa Village, was also killed during the attack. The Commissioner of Police, Betty Isokpan Otimenyin, expressed condolences and assured that security operations have been intensified to apprehend the perpetrators.
