These services offer guaranteed 24-hour and 48-hour delivery for urgent consignments, aiming to compete with private courier services and capitalize on India's rapidly growing e-commerce market. Initially available in six major cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad), India===India Post plans nationwide coverage by March 2027. The services feature OTP-verified deliveries, end-to-end tracking, real-time SMS alerts, and business-friendly options like 'Book Now, Pay Later' and free bulk shipment pickup. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighted the significant growth in India===India Post's revenue and parcel business, emphasizing the goal to make parcel services a key growth engine.
