UK Trade Envoy Visits Bangladesh

Ann Winterton, the UK Trade Envoy to Bangladesh, is visiting Dhaka to strengthen the trade and economic partnership between the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. This visit, her third, follows the formation of Bangladesh's new government and aims to deepen cooperation in trade, economic development, higher education, aviation, and defence. She will meet with government officials and business leaders to explore opportunities for increased bilateral trade and investment. Ann Winterton will also visit Bangladeshi businesses that export to the United Kingdom under the United Kingdom===Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), which provides duty-free market access and supports export diversification. Bangladesh is the largest beneficiary of the DCTS, supplying high-quality goods to British consumers.
