Haryana Government Launches AI Skilling Initiative

The India===Haryana government, led by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, has launched a significant initiative to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI) skilling among its government employees. This effort, part of a broader strategy to enhance technology-driven governance, aims to build a more efficient, responsive, and citizen-centric administrative system. Employees are encouraged to utilize the India===iGOT Karmayogi platform, a national digital learning portal under Mission Karmayogi, which offers free, self-paced, and certified AI courses. These courses cover a wide range of topics, from foundational AI concepts to advanced applications in urban governance, rural development, education, and productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot. The India===Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) is actively supporting this initiative, emphasizing the growing importance of AI in public administration. Collaborating institutions include India===Karmayogi Bharat, India===National e-Governance Division (MeitY), Romesh Wadhwani, Microsoft, and India===Invest India. The initiative is expected to enhance decision-making, enable data-driven policy formulation, and improve public service delivery across India===Haryana.
