Microsoft and Publicis Groupe have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to build a full-stack AI-powered marketing solution. This collaboration, building on their decade-old Marcel AI platform, aims to unify legacy systems, AI agents, and identity-based data to accelerate marketing outcomes in the era of agentic AI. Publicis Groupe===Publicis Sapient's Slingshot framework will leverage Microsoft===Microsoft Azure for cloud migration, while Sapient AI solutions will integrate Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent 365, and Microsoft IQ. The partnership will also utilize Epsilon's identity-based data model, integrated with Microsoft Fabric, to enable AI agents to reason, decide, and act on trusted, proprietary data. As part of the agreement, Publicis Groupe will deploy Microsoft===Microsoft 365 Copilot to its 114,000+ employees and has selected Microsoft===Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud provider. Additionally, Publicis Groupe will become Microsoft's global media agency of record, further strengthening the integration and co-innovation between the two companies.
