Kannur Dental College Student Suicide Probe

Nithin Raj RL, a 22-year-old first-year BDS student at Kannur Dental College in India===Kerala, died on April 10 in a suspected suicide after falling from a building. His parents and friends allege he was subjected to emotional harassment, caste-based discrimination, and verbal abuse by faculty members, including M. K. Ram and K. T. Sangeetha Nambiar. The Kerala===Kerala Police have launched a detailed probe into the incident, registering a case of unnatural death and collecting digital evidence. Kannur Dental College has suspended the two accused faculty members and initiated an internal inquiry, pledging cooperation with the police.
