Cadence, Nvidia Partner on AI Robotics

Cadence Design Systems and Nvidia have announced a partnership to advance artificial intelligence for robots. This collaboration involves integrating Cadence's physics engines, which simulate real-world material interactions, with Nvidia's AI models designed for training robots in computer simulations. The goal is to significantly reduce the time required for robots to learn and perform useful tasks. Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Anirudh Devgan, CEO of Cadence Design Systems, highlighted the importance of this initiative at a conference. Additionally, Cadence Design Systems introduced a new AI agent that will assist human engineers in the later stages of chip design, laying out circuits as physical designs on silicon. This new system will be available on Alphabet===Google Cloud Platform, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc..
