Manipur restores internet services after bomb attack

The India===Manipur government has revoked the suspension of mobile internet and data services across five Imphal Valley districts, including Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur. This decision follows an improvement in the law and order situation, after the services were initially suspended on April 7 due to a deadly bomb attack in Bishnupur district, allegedly carried out by suspected Kuki militants. The internet ban had caused significant inconvenience to the public and affected the functioning of various institutions, including courts, health facilities, and educational institutions. The India===Manipur government has also handed over the investigation of the bomb attack to the India===National Investigation Agency, while security forces continue operations to maintain peace.
