The Oman — Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), led by Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, along with the India — National Investigation Agency (NIA), Thai Union Group PCL, Mahidol University, ThaiBev Public Company Limited, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., and new partner Foodland Ventures from Taiwan, launched 'SPACE-F Year 7'. This program is Thailand's first global foodtech startup incubator and accelerator, aiming to solve food industry challenges through sustainable innovation. The program features 20 startups from 10 countries, focusing on Proof of Concept (POC) strategies to achieve commercialization on an international scale. MHESI plans to present food innovation products from these startups to the Cabinet to raise awareness that FoodTech is Thailand's new future. The initiative also emphasizes the Wellness Economy as a new growth engine, aiming to position Thailand as a global Wellness Tourism Hub. The SPACE-F program connects startups with large industrial corporations and investors, providing access to expert networks, advanced laboratories, and fundraising capabilities, while allowing startups to retain full ownership of their innovations.
