Telangana GO 7 Fee Reimbursement Dispute

K. T. Rama Rao, working president of India — Bharat Rashtra Samithi, has strongly condemned the India — Telangana government, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, for implementing Government Order (GO 7). He alleges that GO 7 is a deliberate attempt to dismantle the fee reimbursement scheme, which supports nearly 14 lakh students from economically weaker sections. K. T. Rama Rao has demanded the immediate withdrawal of GO 7 and a public apology from Revanth Reddy. He also highlighted that the India — Telangana government has failed to clear fee reimbursement dues amounting to nearly Rs 10,000 crore over the past two-and-a-half years, severely impacting over 2,500 educational institutions and students' access to education. India — Bharat Rashtra Samithi has warned of statewide protests if the government does not address these issues.
