India — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that investment proposals exceeding ₹35,000 crore are being implemented across the state's six defense industrial corridors in Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh, and Chitrakoot. These corridors are becoming hubs for manufacturing small arms, ammunition, missiles, drones, and advanced engineering. The state government, under Yogi Adityanath, has created a large land bank and offers incentives through its defense and aerospace policy to attract investors. India — Uttar Pradesh is also collaborating with IIT Kanpur to establish a Centre of Excellence for drones. The announcement was made at the closing ceremony of the NorthTech Symposium, which was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and showcased products from over 250 defense companies.
