The contract award to CMS Info Systems by HDFC Bank is positive for CMS Info Systems, strengthening its market position and revenue from private banks. It also highlights a trend of banks outsourcing ATM management, which could benefit other service providers in the sector.
CMS Info Systems has secured a significant five-year ATM managed services outsourcing mandate from HDFC Bank, valued at ₹400 crore, covering 6,000 ATMs. Under this agreement, CMS Info Systems will provide end-to-end services including currency forecasting, logistics, and its Vision AI solution, HAWKAI. This deal is a major win for CMS Info Systems, reinforcing its presence in the ATM outsourcing and cash management solutions space. Anush Raghavan, Chief Business Officer of CMS Info Systems, stated that this mandate, along with expanded partnerships with ICICI Bank and a recent ₹1,000 crore contract from State Bank of India, will help CMS Info Systems increase its private bank revenue mix from 22% in FY25 to 30% by FY27. The move by HDFC Bank is aimed at improving ATM uptime, cash availability, and operational efficiency.
